Step 1: In Home Consultation
Every DBI project starts with a 2-hour in-home design consultation. This is where we learn about your goals, expectations, and level of investment for your project. We will discuss your personal aesthetic, style inspiration, and lifestyle.
With this information, we will establish the full scope of your unique project and estimated timeline. Following the meeting, we will provide you with an accurate design proposal based on the agreed-upon scope of work.

Step 2: Design & Development
In the design and development phase, we hone in on the details and confirm the layout of the space with floor plans to define furniture placement, lighting schemes and room flow.
We source furniture, fabric, paint/wallpaper, accessories and any other pertinent design details that have been influenced by your desired style and function of the space. We then create and present the proposed design concept to you for approval.

Step 3: Implementation & Procurement
Upon approval of the design concept, we begin the implementation and procurement phase. In this phase, which typically lasts several months, we coordinate all the details including ordering and purchasing products, working closely with vendors to manage your project’s progress, installation, delivery and storage of furnishings and decor.
During this phase, we will also have our trades in to complete any necessary work in the home.

Step 4: Execution & Styling
The final phase of our 4 step process is the execution and install phase. Once all of your products have been received, our team of movers and installers deliver all the furniture and decor to your home at once.
Every piece is positioned perfectly, all decor is styled to reflect your individual style and personality and this is where your design becomes a reality!
